Fairy Doodles in the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FINALLY!!! I own some Fairy Doodles by Buzzcraft. My friend, Anna, had posted these cuties a while back. After searching several online stores, I would pick one that went to market for 3 weeks. lol. Oh well, it was worth the wait. One of the best surprises while waiting was that Hope Stamps Eternal received this adorable Cosmo Cricket paper. Was this meant to be or what? I'm giddy that these look so great together that I went back and ordered another paper pad! Have a great day!

CIC21

Boy do those cupcakes look good and yet so light - lol Yeah I know it was a bad joke! Rachel's challenge this week really had me thinking, because I don't have anything with a hot air balloon and really love the one she used in her card because it has a heart on it. Might need to buy that set by The Greeting Farm. So what to use? I decided to go with my fav Elzybells puppy - who is definitely in trouble - look how high he is. Also for the clouds, pulled out a cute little cloud from an older SU set (Travel Time I think) Happy Monday! Go visit Rachel's blog and get carried away with the fun (ok last bad joke for the day). http://www.hopestampseternal.blogspot.com/

One of those days!

Ever have one of those days - where your card is almost finished and then BAM! Something goes wrong at the last minute. Well in my case, it was my dog, Sawyer. He decided that it would be best if he jumped up in my lap just as I was finishing with applying Smooch to her dress. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It smeared everywhere and I was already 30 minutes into this card, so no way was it going in the trash. So I cropped the left side of the image off and went with it. LOL
My Just Magnolia challenge is drying and I will probably post it tomorrow sometime. Hope your day is going great!

Paper - Pattern paper from Target (a long time ago), SU cs

Raining Love

What is the first factor in your cards? Image? Paper? Sentiment? It changes for me, but most of the time it's the image. This time, however, the polka dot paper is what started the whole process. It's double sided and I like the flowers too. Next up what image? A new Pink Gems stamp because of her polka dot boots - lol. I've made a few cards with umbrella images and used the heart shaped rain dots - LOVE them. Pink/red/white were all used here. Last my sentiment. Happy Wednesday!!!

Ink - Brilliance and Copics
Paper - pp ? Bella Blvd ? and SU cs

Just Magnolia - Friends

LOL - did I overdo it with the polka dots? I didn't quite have the Copic or Prismacolor pens for this paper, so it was layer upon layer of color to even get close. Then at the last minute I decided to add the dots to her outfit. This sentiment has really been used a lot this week - every single card I've made. I love love love the sentiment. Another mini goof turned out to be a nice surprise. I had some pearl embellishments from the Target dollar spot that I colored with a silver pen. Did you know that if you run them thru the Sissix machine they will squish flat? Oops! Didn't think that through - more COFFEE!!!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Stamps - Magnolia with heart/Penny Black sentiment
Ink - Brilliance and Copic/Prismacolor pens
Paper - TAC white and Making Memories pp

CIC19

This week's inspiration challenge are wonderful colors. I didn't have anything with a rainbow, so I went for the flowers/colors as my inspiration. Something feels a little off about this card, maybe I should have carried the pink up to the top too, but it did give me a chance to combine 2 new stamps. My sentiment was already out from yesterday's card so I figured it would work with this scene. On her little jumper, I used a white opague pen for her polka dot design.
Stamps - Magnolia summer background, Penny Black sentiment, All That Scraps Pixie with wheelbarrow
Ink - Brilliance and Copic/Prismacolor pens
Paper - PTI and GP
Misc. - stickles, dew drops, MS border punch, brackets (?)

My first award

Nothing to post at the moment but I just received my first award from Caroline, who has the most amazing blog. I've made several purchases after seeing some adorable things she's posted.

Goodbye Simba

Today is such a very sad day for me. My sweet little Simba passed away in the early morning hours. We were blessed to have him for 15 years and he is really the only pet that my grown kids remember. Simba had such a cute personality - he would love to play hide and seek with me and when I would go into my stamp room he had tons of fun with the ribbon!!! My heart is broken right now, even though I know he had a long wonderful life with us.

Judith

This is a stamp that I picked up in TX. I'm a huge fan of Judith stamps and they are very difficult to find (for me anyway). There is just something about her animals that really calls to me. The grass is also Judith that I now wish had been purchased, but one of the girls let me borrow it for this card. Sentiment is from a set that my friend Anna had given to me - such a versatile set that covers almost everything. Do you know who makes it? Anna? Have a great day.
Stamps - Lion/grass by Judith and sentiment (?)
Ink - Brilliance and Copics/Prismacolor pens

Rachel's cupcake inspiration challenge this week is over the top CUTENESS!!!! I love owls (long story) and hearts are kinda my signature thing. So you can imagine my excitement when she revealed this week's gorgeous picture. Oooohhhh!!!! I have SU Crystal Effects on the balloon and used a Copic color (BG10) that I recently picked up for the outline. Also used the blue and a pale red to highlight part of the sentiment. However, I do love my Heidi Swapp distressing tool, so I decided to bust it out for the challenge. LOL A few weeks ago, I picked up some We R Memory Keepers grommets that were on clearance at HL.
