Shop til you Drop

Things are light for work and the bridal shower is done, so I had to make time for creating. Not really "make" time, it is so relaxing.
These are new papers/stamp from a shop that opened here a few weeks ago. Really hope they stay here and continue to buy things not at big box stores.
My green present at the top of the pile does match, but it looks more lime than it really is. I put a WOC flower on top of a flower die that was in the paper pad.

How does your garden grow

Yea!!! I found time to make a card. So many people have been out the last few days (beautiful 60 degree weather) buying flowers that my sweet Hanglar stamp was the first thing that came to mind.
These papers have been around for a while and I love the colors! Besides the gorgeous weather - a new scrapbook store opened and they carry the Kaisercraft paper pads that I love so much. Two found their way into my basket and a Stamping Bella that is so adorable. This store has potential!!! Let's hope locals will support it. The poor owner was having major electronics issues though - computer was acting up, she had been on hold so long her cell phone was dying, etc. Those days can be so frustrating!

Hippity Hop

This will more than likely be the only Easter card that will get made. So sad really because there are so many beautiful Easter Magnolia stamps, but there is no time.
I had to get everything workwise done today, because tomorrow will find me in Nashville at the Ryman seeing Daughtry!!!! WOO HOO!!!
If you are a member of his fan club, he asked people to submit pictures that may/may not be put up on a video during one of his songs. We are hoping my daughter's engagement picture will be chosen as one of them.

Last week I used one of Stamping Bellas for a picture frame. These SB's were on my wish list and a dear friend sent me a few images. How cute are they? ;)

STRESS

This day can't end fast enough for me! So what am I doing to relieve stress? Making a little frame for my daughter's bridal shower for the sweets table. LOL Only I would decide to create with tornadoes dropping all around me! We are waiting to see if one touched down 20 minutes ago in the middle of our city and we are bracing for more tonight.
Anywhooooo...this was a Stamping Bella that I had to have on a recent mini trip to Archiver's. Guys were outside waiting on us, so it was a quick trip inside. :(

Flowers for you

All my creative energy has been elsewhere lately, but a recent trip to the new Archiver's in Nashville made me want to spend time stamping. I picked up some beautiful papers for my daughter's bridal shower and a so so cute Stamping Bella that I had to have!!!
This card has a mini card on top. Untie the ribbon behind the image and a sentiment is inside. I haven't made a card like that in YRS!
Hope you are safe where you are. We were in the danger area the other day with tornadoes and possibly another round Friday afternoon. Oh how I hate this time of year.
