CIC8
This is my second attempt at Rachel's cupcake challenge. After taking a picture of my first card, I noticed that stickles had caused my copic ink to run - ugh! So I stayed with the same ink/cs and changed the image and layout. Rachel's link is over to the right (hopestampseternal) - check it out and play along.

Just Magnolia Challenge
Oooh - another challenge that really gets me out of my comfort zone. A card not in the traditional "square" shape. Of course, my first instinct was to make a heart shaped card, but went for the large scalloped nestabilities instead. It looks like a flower - right? LOL
Go check it out and play along!

Just Magnolia Challenge
Happy Saturday! This afternoon will find me on the road to Alabama to see Matt Nathanson with my daughter and son (he's a singer for those who aren't familiar with his name). It was a Mother's Day gift from my daughter.
Gee - one might think I don't have any stamps but Magnolias! LOL Every Friday when they post the challenge, I immediately go to my stash and get to work. This is one of my latest purchases. How cute is that flower! Go check out the sketch challenge and play along. Have a fabulous weekend!

Cherry Tilda
How I LOVE this Magnolia! She is so adorable and I've been able to find some really cute cherry themed papers in the last week! Woo Hoo! While working on this card, I became stumped on how to finish off the right side of the image panel. Ribbon or sentiment? I asked my friend, Tammi, and she said both would be good. I went with my newest sentiment with a Mother Teresa quote.
Stamps - Cherry Tilda (Magnolia) Sentiment (?)
Paper - Dream Street pp and SU cs
Ink - Brilliance and Copics

Birthday Stitches?
Happy Saturday! ACK! I almost didn't do the current Just Magnolia challenge, because 1) I don't have a sewing machine (and wouldn't be able to work it if I did ;) 2) All my rub-ons with faux stitching are gone. So here is my pathetic attempt at stitching. It's so sad really! Go check out the other Just Magnolia cards and play along!
