Need a Hug?

Happy Friday! Another card made in TX. I just love how quickly this all came together. This Greeting Farm stamp I believe in still in stock at and is 20% off for the next few days. The sentiment is from a set that my friend Anna had given me in a LSS round. Hmmm...Just Magnolia challenge is distressing, what to do, what to do.

This is a card that I made in TX. I ordered Edward from Hope Stamps Eternal and Rachel's customer service rocks & it arrived before leaving. Woo Hoo!!! The pic is shot at this angle so you can see Edward's hair. After finishing the card, second guessing set in and now I wish that I had made his skin glisten instead of his hair. Still, all in all, like the card and will make another one using stickles on his skin.

Beach Babe

Life is a little hectic right now, so I'm posting a card made about a week ago. This is one of All That Scraps digi image (also available in a stamp). They are all so cute. My daughter had a bathing suit close to this when she was little. I'm on my way in a few days to a LOSTie get together in TX, so this will be my last post until Friday, when I will attempt to beat Anna on post to the Just Magnolia challenge. Now watch, with all the stuff that is in my tote, I will not have an item or color that is needed. Please no!!!! You better get up early Anna!!! LOL To all my LOSTie friends who will not be there - I wish you were coming and hope next year works out!!

Cookie bake

Sorry about the shadow on my card. It's getting ready to storm again here today. Working on a card swap design that I'll be working on next week. I would love to hear your thoughts. Should I keep the rolling pin or ditch it? His little apron is paper pieced.
On a different note, one of the blogs that I recently discovered (and LOVE) is Kim MacNutt's blog. Can this girl work a cuttlebug embossing folder. Make sure when you visit, to bring a coke, coffee, or tea, because you are going to be there a while. She is on the sidebar under blogs that inspire me (Kim). All the blogs on my sidebar inspire me!!!!

Anna's blog candy

My buddy, Anna, has some awesome blog candy right now!!! Anna is one of my "sisters" on SCS and she does really awesome cards and scrapbook pages. Recently we have been having a little contest to see who can post on the Just Magnolia challenge blog first. So far, I've only beat her once. LOL

Will it go round in circles?

Am I showing my age by using that song title? This weekend I decided to really push myself to look up different sketches, shapes, etc. After stumbling across lots of cards where part of the image is cut out, it was one that I went with. Super fun and this is my ALL TIME FAVORITE Elzybells image. I adore that little puppy!!! Also went a tiny bit 3D, since his cake is up on pop-up dots. Hope your week is off to a good start.

It's a Celebration - JM

TGIF!!! This week on Just Magnolia they have such a cute sketch. Coming up with cute sketches is something that I seriously lack in. It comes so easy to lots of people, not so much to me. I decided to play down the embellishments and use cute heart rain dots. Have a wonderful weekend!

I try to participate in the cupcake inspiration challenges, so why not use some cute cupcake paper and a little lady who is mad that they go to her hips - LOL This isn't a current challenge, but it's been on my brain, so I grabbed a few goodies and went with it. I hope one day Rachel does an owl cupcake challenge because somewhere on one of the cupcake sites, the cutest owl cupcakes ever were calling to me. ;)
Have a great day!

Charmed I'm Sure

This week's Just Magnolia challenge is to use a charm. Well my friends know that I have TONS of heart charms, but that was too easy. This past week there was just no mojo in me and hopefully it's coming back. So I decided to use my last cross charm and the perfect Tilda image. Notice the buttons? I'm so not a button person, but holy cow, when I saw these in a jar with pretty flowers I just had to have them. All the PTI buttons are so pretty and I'm sure some of them will eventually make it to my stamp room. ;) Also hoping to beat my pal, Anna, to post on the thread! We'll see how I do. :)
