Fall Decorating

For my cardmaking friends, no you haven't stumbled upon the wrong place. I posted a few days ago that a lot of my time had been spent doing some decorating around my house. Today I'm linking up to a fall decorating blog. So many talented people out there and they have really inspired me!
This is my family room mantle which is always decorated for the seasons. I had wanted to do a traditional Halloween mantle, but had trouble finding trees, so went with a fall harvest theme.

This is a close-up of one a new jar that I purchased and it's filled with an old garland that was purchased last year at Hobby Lobby (50% off).

This is a close-up of a new pumpkin sign. Even though my daughter is grown, I still call her pumpkin!

Please visit this blog if you want to get some incredible fall decorating ideas!

We interrupt your programming

Well this is what I get for trying to change the look before heading out to work. I can't seem to get rid of the background from a previous selection. However when I hit the refresh button the "new" background appears to about 5 seconds. UGH!
Oh well, will try to figure it out tonight.

Long time no see

Has it really been 3 weeks since I last posted? wow Well a few things distracted me. My sister was home for 10 days and every possible moment was spent with her. She lives on the other side of the US and we don't get to see each other but maybe once a year.
Plus I have a little confession to make...before discovering stamping about 10 yrs. ago, decorating was my big passion. Used to think when life quieted down I would maybe pursue that as a career. Well all the help that I was giving to my daughter with her new home reawakened that love. So I've been doing lots of things around my house.
I've missed looking at all the blogs and hopefully that I'll be better about that. Have a great day!

Stamps - Inkadinkadoo (I think (lost the packaging)
Paper - BG Eerie and SU cs

Serious stamping slump going on around here, but I sat and colored this little guy while watching Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion show. YIKES - those women are awful!!! All the name calling and catty behavior.
