You Are My Sunshine!!!

I'm pretty sure it's safe to post this, because the new mommy has much better things to do than visit blogs. :)

My friend, Kim, and her husband Ross just welcomed their sweet daughter into the world.

Do you ever have moments that are pure genius and you find yourself just beaming (I don't have many, so please indulge me). Kim's blog is called Sunshiny Days and features stunning sunflowers in the banner. I also bought this cute TAC set a year ago that has a cute girl holding a sunflower. Then about a month ago, I'm passing the baby section and this little outfit is jumping up and down saying "Look at me Debbie" LOL It was one of those moments the sky opens up and choirs sing. Now I had no idea if the baby was a boy/girl, but this outfit was going in my shopping cart. My niece is expecting a girl in 2 weeks, so if the stars had not aligned, this would have gone to her daughter. CONGRATS to Ross and Kim!

If you are a stamper, then you have probably read/heard about Michelle, who had a horrible accident. I visit her blog occasionally and this card is a little late, but it will be nice to receive a card at anytime right? When printing this image, I did have a little trouble with the sentiments. They wouldn't print clear & after going back and even chosing sharpen as an option, still blurry/choppy. So I skipped using one of them. If you have time this week maybe you could send her a card too.

Since Hanglar stamps and Wild Orchid flowers are 2 of my obsessions, this was easy! Her little outfit is glitterific and so are the flowers. The larger flower was offwhite, so I hit it with Silver Smooch Spritz.

Under the Sea

Gimme a break - it's all I could come up with. LOL

OK this is totally Anna and Rachel's fault. First Anna has been making ADORABLE cards with these mermaid images from All That Scraps. I put several in my shopping cart and then hesitated. That didn't last long, because Rachel has a cupcake inspiration that just screamed these mermaids. Oh well, held out as long as I could. ;) Each mermaid comes with an adorable sea creature, but I mixed 2 sets together. Can you believe that in the entire stash of papers, nothing was water/ocean related. So I went with some of the colors in her challenge and used a CB ef.

PTT #6

The challenge this week at Party Time Tuesday is inside out. You also decorate the inside of your card. Not something I do much of, but it seems like a great way to use that last bit of dp.

For this card, my paper came first and then last week found this cute owl stamp. Any image with a balloon will usually make it into the shopping cart. lol Cut out one of the clouds from my pp and used it on the inside.

Laundry Day

Sharing another baby card today. This is also for my niece. Love this fun laundry line set that also has clothes for boys. This card had to go out today, so I might have taken a little more time on the pins lining up a bit better.

Using more DCWV baby paper. What's so great about this line is many of the papers can be used everyday!

I'm planning on making red velvet cupcakes today (with the cute sprinkles of course), stuffed strawberries, and some strawberry lemonade. My husband is next door bbq'ing some kind of beef (LOL). Can you tell it's summer - strawberries on the brain.
