My niece had her daughter yesterday and my sister is OVER THE MOON!!! I'm so happy for all of them. The only picture I have so far is on my cell. I found an adorable pair of pink Stride Rite tennis shoes on sale (a bigger size so she can grow into them) and cute pink socks.

This was so TOUGH for me, but I'm pleased with the final result! My friend, Tammi, does amazing things with these images, but I'm terrified of them. LOL
I have a healthy fear and respect for owls (long story)so this was the image that called to me. WHOOO!!!!!!! I had colored this, picked the papers, but when I decided on my ribbon, it was back to square one.

Have you seen these commercials? The new Allstate ads make me laugh out loud. They are VERY different and the actor is CUTE! I knew he looked familiar, but couldn't place him, so after a little research, found out he was on the first season of L&A SVU. Fascinating story about him because last year he "technically" died.

Winter is calling

It would be fine with me if we just skip fall and go straight to winter. It's going to be 105 here today. This has to be the worst summer ever, as far as heat. We bought a new patio set 3 weeks ago, and can't even enjoy it. Last Sunday we did sit in our new chairs for 30 minutes drinking ice water. :(

But I digress....this card is for no challenge, just the pure joy of creating. Something COLD was called for, so out came one of my new Belles 'n Whistles stamps.
