Hanglar - Shabby/ Distress Challenge

Posted by Picasa
This Hanglar challenge was distressing. Now this is not something that comes naturally to me at all. Can you tell? LOL Too heavy handed with the ink. I used ColorBox (Frost White) first on the blue cs and then layered Tim Holtz Walnut Stain on top. Also used the walnut on the image panel. My little guy appears to be a world traveler and maybe he's waiting for his train or plane to leave and has his yoyo out to occupy his time. LOL Actually this could also be a girl with a short haircut. There is just a touch of bling added to his yoyo.
Image - Boy w/yoyo (Hanglar and Spanglar)
Paper - SU cs an pp
Ink - Memento and Copics, Tim Holtz Walnut Stain an Colorbox Frost White
Misc. - Kaiser bling, PTI ribbon, and pop-up dots

Love how you did the dew drop! That paper is a load of fun too! I have a real hard time with distressing too! Not easy for me either. Don't some folks just make it seem so easy to do?!
