For Bella

Posted by Picasa
This has been my project the last 2 days. My niece is expecting her first child in August. Her name is Annabella (Bella for short). The shower was moved up a month, so it was a hustle to get the invites/party favors done/mailed in time for them to go out. Her theme is "Cute as a Button". This is my smaller gift to her "New Mommy Survival Kit". The contents inside...
Aspirin
Wisp (breath strips)
Germ X
Slippers/Facial Mask
Cupcake Mist
Mini Kleenex kit
Mini Wet Ones
Mini Lint Roller
Mini Emergency Kit
My papers reflected her polka dot/button theme.
Stamps - Hanglar baby set (LOVE LOVE LOVE this set)
Paper - DCWV pp
Misc. - PTI ribbon/buttons, pop-up dots, Becky Higgins font for cover

Challenge combo

Posted by Picasa
It's been too long since I've played in one of Rachel's cupcake challenges!!! This cupcake color combo just sang out to me because turquoise was one of my grandmother's favorite colors. It was somewhere in every room of her house and such wonderful memories it brings back. Time hasn't been on my side lately, so the Just Magnolia challenge is combined. Love this fun sketch!!!
Stamp - Tilda with Roses
Paper - SU pp and cs
Ink - Memento and Prismacolor pens
Misc. - metal dots, stickles, nestabilities, ribbon/lace, sticker sentiment, flowers (Prima/Wild Orchid), MS punch

Baby Boy

Posted by Picasa
Today I pulled out my Hanglar baby set and made a boy card. There aren't many blue Copics in my house, because it's just not a color that I use much. It was a hit/miss trying to get close to this SU pp. There is another one already colored a deeper blue in case it's needed. :)
Stamp - Hanglar and Spanglar
Paper - GP, PTI, and SU pp
Ink - Memento and Copics
Misc. - MS border punch, Kaiser bling, pop-up dots, American Crafts ribbon

Just Magnolia - In the Garden

Posted by Picasa
This week's challenge is "In the Garden". So I went through my stash and found these cute papers. Once that decision was made, the Bunny Tilda was perfect. She is so cute, but you have no idea what I had to go through to get her. It's a long story but she's finally here and I'm happy. She can be used all year and not just for Easter. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!

Papers - Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety/PTI cs

Inspiration

Posted by Picasa
Happy Wednesday! Lately there has been no mojo at all in my house. So what's a girl to do? For me, go to party planning blogs. I love to visit decorating/entertaining blogs. They are so addictive. The colors!!! This is a Penny Black stamp that was given to me recently by a friend. :) She is so cute! The colors came from a party blog that I visited and the layout is one that was tweaked just a little from a card that my friend, Kim, had recently sent me.
Stamps - Penny Black
Paper - DCWV baby stack and PTI cs
Ink - Memento/Copics
Misc. - Prima/Wild Orchid flowers, heart pins (one was gift/one from Wild Orchid), May Arts ribbon

Tea for Two

Posted by Picasa
Well the baby shower invites and party favors are behind me. Whew! I had started to color this image last night and decided it would work with a fun paper pad from Kaiser that was in my friend Rachel's store, Hope Stamps Eternal. It's closing, so there might be a few goodies left. The last few pages had punch outs, so I used the scallop to make a sort of awning that the party girls are sitting under. Have a wonderful day!
Stamps - Lili of the Valley image and SU sentiment
Paper - Kaiser paper pad and GP white
Ink - Memento and Copics
Misc. - Prima/Wild Orchid flowers, Smooch Spritz, pop-up dots, Kaiser bling
